What exactly is CODE GREEN? Well, it doesn’t mean anything actually. Except that I’ve made a few new custom textures, and to my surprise, they are all green. Someone suggested a green Mario final smash, so i did it, kinda. Then I was messing with item textures, and for some reason I decided to change the Hammer handle to Green. And yesterday that I woke up, I felt like doing another Final Destination stage TXS, which theme is the Matrix, and sure enough, its Green. I didn’t plan to do lotsa green stuff, but it happened. I also updated the TXS Brawl roster with the Phanto Smash Ball texture, which I placed as a separate link because there can only be one custom Smash Ball for each Common3.pac file. So there are 2 Item PACS up for grabs. One with Zunny, and one with Phanto. You can only HaZ one at a time, so keep a copy of both PAC files for whenever you want to kick Zunny’s or Phanto’s non-existent butts.
So, um, keep reading for previews of the new textures. Duh.
I haven’t put this texture up for download yet. I have to organize my Items PAC, since it became a little messy after I paused texture hacking for a bit. I will be making a single download with 2 Common3 item pacs, and each one will have either the Zunny Smash Ball or the Phanto Smash Ball. That way, you don’t have to bother with all the extraction/insertion stuff. I’m cool like that.
I posted a video instead of random images because it looks way better in action. Take a look.
DOWNLOAD COMING SOON – And Kudos to those who figured out what I had planned through my previous post, Although it was a little too obvious, in my opinion.
The previous Common3.PAC file that was available for download in the TXS Brawl Roster had a slight bug(s). Due to due a minor glitch with SSBBarc (1 of the apps used for Item texture hacking), some texture files replaced a different address than the corresponding Item PAC. While using my Items PAC file, You might have seen/experienced the following:
-A blue Pokeball that is actually a Metal Box (beta item)
-A Grey Pitfall Seed with an upside-Down ? that scrolls like a Mushroom (beta item)
-Freezing when altering size (mushroom, lighting, WarioWare stage, etc)
This has been fixed in the latest download link on the TXS Brawl Roster, and my beta items will be added soon. That doesn’t mean I didn’t tweak anything this time, however. Just take a look below:
You want items? You get items! Here is you chance to start playing Brawl with Custom item textures. Not only that, but I’ve added a few more customized items to the list. I will be updating the Common3 PAC file often with new item textures, so be sure to check out the TXS Brawl thread regularly for updated Download links. Continue reading for more in-game pictures of the new items waiting for you.
Oh yes, I remember when I first played that scary level. The desert stage where you were followed by that dastardly sun, who was always trying to get you. I was around 4-5 years old when I first played that stage, and I always hated that level. I usually handed the controller to my sister, because I was afraid of the Sun (seriously). And here I am, 15 years later, trying to revive this old nemesis. Ah, the irony of life…
So how do I plan to include Zunny (that’s how I call the SMB3 Sun) into Brawl? Well, if you are on the main page and not reading the full article, then click the link below to continue reading the rest of the post! Or if you are reading the entire post already, then good for you ^_^
What’s this? It seems someone from outer space has left a present, and within it contains… more presents. Why isn’t that, the Transformers Cube? And, its brought some friends too!
With hexing outta the way, I am finally able to make Item textures. Items work differently than Characters, Trophies, PKMN, etc, so I won’t be releasing a compiled Common3.pac every time I make a new Item TXS. Yes, that means you guys will have to wait until I at least have a fair amount of Items done so I can released the pac file that contains the item textures. In the mean time, if you have any ideas for Items, please let me know. I am still working on getting the Smashball files to work, and its a pretty nifty idea. In fact, the best idea I’ve had so far, in my opinion. I really do hope I get it working soon.
