I’ve been watching the Marathon for a while now, so yeah, I’m a bit tired, but still high-spirited.

Super Mario Marathon 2 is all about raising money for the Child’s Play Charity organization. What is the Child’s Play organization? Here’s a brief overview from the site itself:

Since 2003, we’ve set up and organized Child’s Play, a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in our network of over 60 hospitals worldwide. In five short years, you as a community have answered the call and come together to raise millions of dollars.

So what exactly is the Mario Marathon? Well, its a live streaming broadcast of 3 people playing Super Mario games in a pretermined order, nonstop for a whole weekend. I was a bit late in promoting this event, which I admit is the first time I hear about the Mario marathon. But anyhow, hopefully this will get people to watch the live broadcast for the little hours that remain of the Marathon. If you’ve yet to see the Super Mario Marathon 2, don’t miss out!
